Sagebrush grows all over the high desert plains of Eastern Oregon. But it turns out it’s not that easy to grow the plant — especially on land that’s been devastated by fires. We speak with Jessie Brothers, the coordinator of the program, and to Gerald Strebendt, a former prisoner.
