Sagebrush grows all over the high desert plains of Eastern Oregon. But it turns out it’s not that easy to grow the plant — especially on land that’s been devastated by fires. So an Oregon nonprofit has teamed up with the Department of Corrections to train prisoners to grow sagebrush from seed.
