What the world needs now is love, sweet love. Those are the words penned in 1965 by the seminal songwriting team of writer, Hal David and composer, Burt Bacharach. Dionne Warwick went on to record the tune in 1966. It has been covered by several notable artists - Johnny Mathis, The Staple Singers and Luther Vandross, to name a few.

Enter Jason Morales. This in-demand session vocalist enlisted the help of other session musician and recording artists to record this timeless classic to share the message of love in a time when, "...It's the only thing that there's just too little of".

Jason says, "I made it a point to reach out to my friends and my colleagues here in Los Angeles and I just put out a mass call to everybody. To my utter delight, everybody responded with a resounding 'yes'. We want to help, we want to also join in on the cause to spread love, spread light. That's what we're here to do." Morales released the recording on Facebook, SoundCloud and YouTube.

Jason joined L Boogie/Lorna Bryant at The Place to talk about this phenomenal project that delivers the message of what the world needs now - love, sweet love.
